Monday Morning Meetings..

Printers are still the fucking bane of all humanity. And, more specifically, the bane of every graphic designer. I liked printing much better when my friend worked at the studio I went to get my stuff printed.

dude I feel your pain. a few weeks ago at work i had to edit an 80 page document that had been set up by the last designer with no paragraph styles, no character styles, no master pages, no bleed. argh!!

Doing design work for someone who had a “designer” at one point and has their files. Everything looks okay, but holy fuck did this person not understand how to make a working file. Everything is just one big clusterfuck.
Also, who puts a 0.35 rule on a light font? Just fucking use the regular version. It has the exact same effect in this case.

My card was used earlier this year to pay off another credit card for $700. I had to spend a good deal of time convincing my bank that yes, I AM sure that’s not my card considering I only have the one that got scammed. Huge pain in the ass.

God-fucking-damnit! Last year (or two years ago? I can’t remember) my fucking debit card got skimmed. Okay, no big deal, the charges were reversed and they sent me a new card with a chip like I should have had. Now, my fucking credit card WITH a chip got used for some big-ass bogus purchase.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF THE CHIP?! It still gets fucking used!
