March 2013
Anonymous asked: When I was at my interview, they said that all elective classes had to be taken @ York, and that it is possible to have classes @ both places on the same day. When were you in YSDN? I am planning on living in Oakville as I have a few friends who are in animation/illustration that I will be living with. I hope that they misunderstood my questions because it would be so much easier to take most...

Anonymous asked: I see you were in YSDN, I've just been accepted, however I am weary of York since I have heard a lot of bad things about it... What was your experience like @ york and how were the classes divided between sheridan/york?

How Was Your Night?
Me: Had a friend's birthday dinner. We went to a really nice place, full window view over the city's main lake, beautiful. Except we are apparently uncultured swine, and walk in all loud and boisterous, then that turned into complaints (cold soup, mine and Matt's calamari app came to us cold and rubbery.. ugh) and all that. Then, as we're ending the meal amidst the glares of the other diners, a friend of mine gives another friend her sweet potato. Except, that erupts an argument amidst us all (we all tried a piece of this massive vegetable) as to whether it was a sweet potato, turnip, or carrot. After a heated debate (I was on team "undercooked sweet potato") we asked the waitress. "Oh, that's a carrot." *incredulous look that we couldn't tell* Uncultured swine. God forbid we see a larger-than-average carrot in our lives.
Lucy: Hahahahahahahaha! How uncouth of you, I mean really.
Me: I was like "That's all for us tonight, everybody!" *walks off stage*
Lucy: *drops mic*

Haven’t had time to check it out, but I was told this is another good (reasonably priced) book printing/making site. :)

Great, great pricing on making your own books. Seriously. I’ve gone through the hassle of finding pricing/places to do the print and bind of a book and these prices are awesome. I mean, there’s no foil stamping of leather binding, but it’s pretty sick.

Great Danes
Me: Matt's become obsessed with getting an SUV since we're getting a small horse soon.
Andrew: Ah yes, the Above-Average Danes.
Me: What?
Andrew: Well, some people call them great but I'm not convinced.
Me: Joke's on you, they're not even Danish. They're a German breed. And "Above-Average German" seems like fighting words.

Debt free.
As of 9:09am this morning, I am debt free. I paid off my student loans in 10 months (that’s minus the 6 month “grace period” where they actually continue to screw you over and charge you insane interest… grace my ass). $25,000 in 10 months. No joke. I want an award (cash, preferably ;) haha) for the insane amount of penny pinching I had to do to get this done in 10...

Britt & Jay's Wedding!
So, my friends are getting married today! :) And I’m only working until 11am because the ceremony is at 4pm and this kid has to get all gussied up and look human. Gif story time! Me anxiously waiting for the clock to strike 11. Me at 10:55, slowly edging my way out. Me in the car on the way home, getting ready, and aaaall the rest of the night. :) Also, all these.

ALL THE FEELS
You know when someone says a joke and then you try to continue that joke, but apparently it was only a joke when they said it? And then everything goes awry, but of course its 100% your fault? Yeah. That. So you’re one friend down and possibly another one because no one can use their words? So yeah. If anyone else is in need of a verbal punching bag (aha! That’s actually a pun in...
